Effective Topical Therapy for Your Atopic Patients: Why it Matters
Managing a disease as complicated as atopic dermatitis (and feline atopic skin syndrome) can be difficult. These are life-long diseases that progress over time, and there is no one way to manage them. Topical therapy has been underutilized in the management of these diseases. In this talk, we will talk about the skin barrier and how its malfunction contributes to disease, how to choose effective shampoos, how to use mousses and sprays effective, and how to select and use skin barrier repair spot-ons to improve outcomes.
