Margie Scherk
DVM, DipABVP (feline practice)
Margie graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1982. In 1986 she opened Cats Only Veterinary Clinic in Vancouver, Canada practicing there until 2008. She achieved ABVP Board certification in feline practice in 1995 and published several clinical trials while in practice. She has written numerous book chapters and is an active international speaker as well as enjoying teaching on-line. She was the Co-editor of the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery for 23 years. Margie has served extensively in the American Association of Feline Practitioners as well other veterinary organizations. Her interests include all things feline, in particular, analgesia, the peculiarities of the feline digestive system and enabling more positive interactions with cats.

Christine Calder
DVM, DACVB
Dr. Calder has lived and practiced veterinary medicine in both New Jersey and Maine for many years. In addition to general practice, she spent time as part of the behavior service at the San Francisco SPCA and in Community Practice within several veterinary school teaching hospitals. With a longstanding interest in animal behavior, she completed a residency with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists in 2016 and became a board-certified Diplomate (DACVB) in 2017. Dr. Calder operates her own veterinary case consultation behavior practice and creates behavior-focused content for CattleDog Publishing® and the Veterinary Information Network®, Inc (VIN). She is co-editor of the new second edition of Dr. Sophia Yin’s Low Stress Handling® and Behavior Modification of Dogs and Cats, Low Stress Handling®: A Practical Guide to Cooperative Care, Training and Behavior Modification, and Veterinary Guide to Preventing Behavior Problems in Dogs and Cats. Her passion lies in education and in preparing veterinary professionals and students to be “Day One” ready to diagnose, manage, and support behavioral cases in clinical practice.

Leticia Fanucchi
DVM, PhD
Leticia Fanucchi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Oklahoma State University. Her specialty is animal behavior.
Originally from Ponta Gross, Parana in Brazil, Dr. Fanucchi earned her DVM degree from the Universidade Tuiuti do Parana in Brazil. Her research interests are applied behavior and animal wellbeing.
Dr. Fanucchi is an adventurer and in her free time she enjoys skydiving, climbing, boating, hiking, diving and riding motorcycles.
