Biography – Rhonda W. Bell, CVPM
Rhonda Bell has spent much of her adult life following her Marine husband from duty station to duty station, all the while collecting pets wherever she went. Despite the nomadic lifestyle, she was able to turn her love of animals into a career as she began working as a Veterinary Assistant in a small animal practice in San Diego, and not long after that, promoted to Veterinary Practice Manager. Rhonda graduated with a business management degree from Western International University in 2006 and earned her CVPM in 2015. A life-long learner, she is currently pursuing another training program in Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and Content Strategy. She recently completed a Social Media Marketing Specialization from Northwestern University. She has also completed courses on Viral Marketing and Crafting Contagious Content from the University of Pennsylvania. She left full-time practice management to pursue her dream of combining her three loves; People, Pets, and Practice Success. She has incorporated them all into a successful consulting business focused on veterinary social media marketing and education. She has a passion for helping veterinary practices implement cost-effective processes to increase revenue and improve client retention. She specializes in streamlining processes and forming strong client bonds between the practice and their clients, by emphasizing a client-first philosophy through a comprehensive customized social media presence. She is a die-hard educator and is currently working with VetMedTeam.com developing several new courses within management, social media, and front office skill building. She also works on their various social media and marketing objectives. Rhonda has published an article in Firstline Magazine, Feb 2018 ‘Empowerment doesn’t work on autopilot’. Rhonda enjoys living in South Texas with her husband Jay and their children, grandchildren and the rest of their large family. Despite her busy life, she has still managed to collect and care for a menagerie of pets that include a pug, 3 “rescue” cats, and a bearded dragon.
